Coronavirus & it’s impact on Chinese Hair Business

(Part-1) Today we all are fighting with the problem Coronavirus (COVID19) and because it has started from China we think that it’s important to dive deep & analyse the current scenario and see it’s impact on the Chinese Hair & International trade.

Corona Virus (COVID-19) is a virus came from a Bat if rumours has to be believed. It has started from China (precisely from Wuhan) but currently captured more than 188 countries and total number of deaths till 22nd March are more than 13K.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo. It is different from the common coronaviruses which causes mild illness like the common cold. People detected with COVID-19 were treated differently from the common corona viruses.

The first case was detected on 17th November 2019, a 55 year old man from Hubei province. After that day at least one to five cases were reported on almost everyday. The first double digit daily rise was reported on December 17 and by December 20th the total number of confirmed cases had reached 60 as per South China Morning Post.

When china found out about the new form of virus (COVID-19) instead of making people aware about it China not only opted to remain silent but started hiding facts and punishing whistleblowers.

China intentionally tried to hide the facts about the virus.

Below are the few steps taken by them to hide the information.

  • As per sources – Ai Fen, a top director at Wuhan Central Hospital, posts information on WeChat about the new virus. She was reprimanded for doing so and told not to spread information about it.
  • As per CNN : Wuhan doctor Li Wenliang also shares information on WeChat about the new Coronavirus. While he was also suffering from the virus, Police Authorities inspected him – to know the source of the virus and later made him signed a form where he accepts that he is spreading rumours & doing an illegal act and ready for the punishment.
  • Instead of making the Wuhan doctor Li Wenliang a hero China administration punished him and he had to pay the price for being honest and vocal about the coronavirus.
  • An official at the Hubei Provincial Health Commission orders labs, which had already determined that the novel virus was similar to SARS, to stop testing samples and to destroy existing samples.

How the world is reacting

If this problem was taken care of responsibly than Coronavirus would have remained in Wuhan only and then treating people in one place would be very easy comparatively. A study published in March indicated that if Chinese authorities had acted three weeks earlier than they did, the number of coronavirus cases could have been reduced by 95% and its geographic spread limited.

Today as on 24th of March 2020, the confirmed infected cases are more the 3,80,000 all over the world, and it took 67 days to reach first 100,000, 12 days to reach next 100,000 and only 4 days to reach 300,000 from 200,000.

Now as things are beyond the control of everyone, most of the people are blaming China for this. Their are many Publications, News Channels and press conference held in which everyone like Michael McCaulDonal Trump & Robert O’brien is blaming China for this irresponsible act.

Even Washington Post is blaming Chinese Communal Party for hiding the facts. And in Italy, Chinese Italian people are facing violence, sexual harassment & discrimination just because of their origin. People who are living in Italy for decades were blamed by local Italy people for bringing the disease in Italy.

As per the records Italy, US, Spain, Germany, Iran & France are the countries which were effected the most due to Coronavirus. See active cases, deaths & recovery country wise by clicking here.

Business relationship with China

Now the question arrises that once when all the countries over come this global crises, how many of countries will be comfortable in doing business with China when the whole world knows that Chinese Communal Govt would hide facts to gain business and to protect their image.

  • Will the relationship of every country remain the same with China, after seeing so many confirmed cases and death due to the Coronavirus?
  • How the businesses will react to it who are importing stuff from China when the citizens already started boycotting Chinese products?
  • Does the Government of the US & Europe will create Anti-Chinese product policy?

Insights : Coronavirus & it’s impact on Chinese Hair Business.

It will effect the trade of Hair from China because if the Hair is collected/donated (which might not be the real source) from the Chinese people then their is a high probability that the infection still remain in the Hair.

Their is a report which claims that mens who are contracted by the disease and recovered from it should seek medical advice as their reproductive fertility is might at risk.

So if the COVID-19 has after effects in men then their is a possibility that women also have some after effects of COVID-19.

And this after effects could spread to the person who wears the Hair of an infected person because if the hair donated by the Chinese lady then the chances of blood/blood related fluids on the Hair is normal. And these fluids are contagious as per the reports.

Direct Hair Imports from China might decrease in the US, UK & European countries as they are the most effected countries however China is smart enough and may export in these countries indirectly via Brazil, Mexico or other asian countries except India.

China can not export indirectly through India because India has their own independent Hair donating, Manufacturing, Exporting industry and it will be a good time for India to capture the market provided Indian companies can control the prices and offer good deals to the importers.
